It’s the final countdown to the Oscars and with only a few days left, we’ve been busy helping celebrities debloat today so they can easily zip up on Sunday. Roasted fennel was voted a Beller Nutrition favorite for when you have a special day and can’t afford any last-minute wardrobe malfunctions. It has a semi-licorice taste, so reach for this as a yummy snack that’ll slim you down and debloat you in no time. Our exclusive recipe will help to relieve that uncomfy pressure feeling in your tummy and make you feel and look your absolute best.
A member of the carrot family, you can get fennel in two forms — seeds or bulb — whichever you like best. The recipe below uses bulbs, but another way to use it is to brew a tea using a teaspoon of seeds and a cup of hot water.
Besides combating indigestion, fennel possesses anti-inflammatory properties and may even reduce cancer risk. Not only that, but it contains vitamin A and vitamin C, which means there’s a ton of anti-oxidant power too! So what are you waiting for?
