A beautiful roasted turkey doesn’t need a complicated ingredient list. Turkey Seasoning brings warm herbs and savory spices together in one easy blend, giving the bird incredible flavor without measuring a lineup of seasonings. The result is juicy, golden, and centerpiece-worthy—with a little extra plant-powered goodness sprinkled right on top.

Directions

  1. Remove the turkey from the refrigerator about 30 minutes before roasting. Pat thoroughly dry with paper towels.
  2. Preheat the oven to 325°F. Place the onion, orange quarters, celery, and bay leaves in the bottom of a large roasting pan to create an aromatic roasting bed.
  3. Lightly brush the turkey with olive oil. Sprinkle Beller Nutrition Turkey Seasoning evenly over the entire turkey, using approximately 1 teaspoon per pound. Gently rub the seasoning over the skin so it is evenly distributed. Sprinkle with sea salt.
  4. Place the seasoned turkey breast-side up over the vegetables. Roast according to the turkey's weight, loosely tenting with foil if the skin begins to brown too quickly. A 12–15 lb turkey will generally take approximately 3–4 hours.
  5. Begin checking the internal temperature toward the end of the estimated roasting time. The turkey is ready when the thickest part of the breast and innermost portion of the thigh reach 165°F.
  6. Remove from the oven and rest for at least 20–30 minutes before carving. Transfer to a serving platter and surround with fresh orange wedges, pomegranate, and herbs, if desired.
  7. Make it a complete meal by pairing with a couple of servings of your favorite low-starch vegetables.
